The JBFOREVER27 foundation was created following the sudden untimely death of Jeremy Burke aged 27 from SADS (sudden adult death syndrome ) in Toronto Canada on 22nd Jan 2023.
The aim of the foundation is to support established charities and trusts that encompass the values and beliefs of our beloved Jeremy.
Jeremy’s interests were wide and varied and his love of life for family, friendship, music sports, travel and all aspects of the arts are well documented. In honour of Jeremy's memory, the foundation intends to do an annual fundraiser with all proceeds going to charities, which we as a family know would be close to Jeremy’s heart.
Given the wonderful musician that Jeremy was and to allow his musical memory to live on the foundation hopes to develop an annual bursary for young and upcoming musicians who have a strong interest in the rock and contemporary genre. The foundation intends to work with Jeremy’s secondary school alongside his fellow musical comrades to promote this endeavour. In the midst of what is an unimaginable tragedy for Jeremy’s family and friends by promoting and maintaining this initiative, we will be keeping Jeremy’s memory alive forever.

Jeremy's Legacy
Jeremy was a talented musician with a passion for songwriting and performing. Taking up the guitar as a child, he has performed with many bands as lead vocalist, was a regular on the Dublin music scene and wrote some finely crafted songs that we have included below.
He has recorded with many of his bands and even traditional ballads with his grandfather Joe.This is only part of his legacy with his appreciation of music extending across all genres and influenced by his formative years in Ireland and more recently in Canada.
